I have never done a still life painting so thought I would tinker around with some ideas.. I peeked inside the cupboard hoping to find something that might fuel the painting and was most taken by the way the kitchen lights played on these beautiful jars and bottles of homemade sauces. They also lit up an old vase we had long forgotten about. We don’t use many vases these days. I got up to have a closer look and found in a nearby cupboard our hidden cache of chocolate. Aha!
